The benchmark of excellence in creativity and originality, UP Pep Squad failed to make it to the champion title this year after a much-loved performance ending in a heart-shaped pyramid and a school hymn as part of their routine.
The UP Pep Squad did not only lose, they slid down to the 2nd Runner-up position with UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe's clean routine. Easily less difficult than the NU and UP routine, they bagged the 1st Runner-up title.
